Never underestimate the power of a girl who knows what she wants. πππΌ
Today I was getting caught up on some work at this Antique store/ coffee shop next to our hotel... I actually loved the atmosphere. It was almost like Iβm sitting at grandmas kitchen table with the cloth table cloths that are covered in a daisy print and plastic tablecloth on top of that. My chair was a comfy vintage mustard yellow chair.... just delightful. Well today the owners husband walks in and is bringing in βnewβ old stuff to sell. π΄π»He was a spunky white haired man and we made eye contact because I was the only one in the coffee shop part of their big store and I had stopped working for that split second to take a sip of my coffee. π©πΌβπ»βοΈ He said, βHi how are you? Whatcha studying for over there?β. I responded, βhello, Iβm not studying I graduated years ago... Iβm workin!β ππΌ He said surprised, βoh. Ok, well who is it thatβs making you work so hard over there? Who do you work for?β π΄π» I timidly responded, βmyselfβ.ππΌ He said βwhat is that?β And made me repeat... βMyself, I work for myselfβ, I said.ππΌ I could tell he was bit surprised considering he thought I was a student... After a pause he chuckled and said, β well that seems like the best person to be working for!β π΄π» I agree. π Wouldnβt want to have any other boss but the one I have now. π ππ»Do what you love and take risks to live a life of purpose passion and freedom.Β
